Garland Stone is a Welsh based feature film, TV production and publishing company.
Garland Stone was founded by its Producer, Dewi Griffiths, who has over thirty years experience of high quality world wide feature film and television drama production.
Garland Stone takes its name from a ship on which Dewi's forefathers sailed, which itself is named after a rock off the coast of Dewi's native Pembrokeshire in West Wales.
Garland Stone's mission statement is to produce Cutting Edge Horror with an Ancient Heritage.
Our projects are all contemporary horror stories based on mythologies native to The British Isles, Europe, The Middle East and the Americas.
Garland Stone's film productions to date include the feature film High Stakes, and the short Film, Crossing the Dead Sea.
Garland Stone has relationships with award winning talent, facilities houses, and Distribution/Sales Agents. We are actively seeking co-production partners to move our other projects into production.

I'm a native Welsh speaker from Pembrokeshire in West Wales,.
Pembrokeshire is the setting for many of the stories from the Ancient Celtic Myths written down a thousand years ago in the Mabinogion. The scenery, mythology and the supernatural are strong influences on me, as seen in Old Flames.
I've had a thirty year career in feature film and high end television drama production, working worldwide.
I was head hunted by senior staff at the AFI and USC Film School to lead Producing at The Red Sea Institute of Cinematic Arts in Jordan, teaching award winning film makers from across the MENA region. I have now returned to Wales as Senior Lecturer in Producing at the Film & TV School Wales.
I'm a Producer at Garland Stone Productions Ltd, which produce horror films, TV and literature: The company specialises in contemporary horror stories grounded in folklore.
Garland Stone's SVP Development is John Washbourne.
John has co-written many of our feature film projects and the novelisations available on this website.
John has a background in video distribution in the UK.
John is also a highly regarded international fencer, and is an expert in armed and unarmed combat.
He is a founder member of the Academy of Historical Fencing.
Witch Sight is a dark fantasy drawing together the myths and supernatural inheritances of the Borderlands of the Celtic nations,.
Witch Sight is set in contemporary Dublin and tells a dark story of the arcane practices which is still alive in this modern European capital city.
For all of the changes to the city, it is a place where the passing of time does not change human nature, and the evil that men do.
Now, as for millennia, some have no restitution for wrongs, except to enter into blood pacts with The Shannow to avenge the deaths of their loved ones.
The Shannow's vengeance is usually quick and discrete but today the mounting death count brings the attention of the Police and the Press like never before.
The Shannow is in danger of being brought out of the shadows of Dublin, exposing the world of folk magic still active in this modern metropolis., only a few years after the repeal of the Witchcraft Act.
